Beeswax Collage ATC Swap
These cards were done for an ATC swap on the Yahoo PaperTraders Group that I belong to. I have the most fun creating backgrounds for my ATCs. The background was created by adding gold tissue paper to some card stock, then I stamped some circle stamps with a red stamp pad, then I stamped with a "marble" stamp with brown stamp pad to give it the veins. I applied the images and words then used an encaustic technique. Next I applied my 3D elements while the wax was still melted. After everything was dry, I buffed the wax and gave it a little shine.
